When I began to read Love That Dog by Sharon Creech I was very confused on what was happening! However, by the time I got to the end I was glad that Jack found an interest in poetry and I enjoyed reading his letter/poem that he wrote for Walter Dean Myers. I enjoyed the Brown Angels book, my favorite poem was Jeannie Had a Giggle. I liked the way that the poem and the words flowed together like a harmony. There are several wonderful poems in the book, All the Small Poems and Fourteen More. All of the poems are simple but yet meaningful.
